Happy New Year! We have now officially closed the door to 2016, and have begun our journeys through 2017.
Now is the time we all start making resolutions for ‘a new year, new me.’ But fast forward a few months when life has taken over and you have forgotten all about those New Year resolutions and have not done a single thing you wanted to do… Sound familiar? Well, you’re certainly not alone. Year after year I make resolutions that I never give a second thought about after January has passed. But this year, I’m going to try something different instead. This year, instead of making resolutions about what I want to achieve in 2017, I’m going to make realistic, specific goals – break my big dreams into smaller parts, achieving them bit by bit.
This year for me is all about trying new things (which I can’t wait to share with you!) and losing weight. But I am looking at achieving these realistically – with the fantastic support of others too – rather than them being a resolution I will forget.
Remember that it is never too late to set another goal, or to dream a new dream.
